With the full Divine Grace and Blessings of Kripaluji Maharaj, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has created three charitable hospitals that will greatly benefit underserved areas in India. The JKP charitable hospitals are located in Mangarh and Barsana, with a third proposed property soon to be constructed in Vrindaban, India. These state-of-the-art facilities are staffed with fully trained and accredited personnel who provide quality health care to local peoples, regardless of their ability to pay. All medical services provided by the JKP charitable hospitals are provided free of charge and help to bring about the divine vision that Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj has for this world and its peoples. The purpose of the JKP charitable hospital project is to serve to local Indian population by providing free medical care. This, in turn, increases health, happiness and hope to the world. Services provided by the charitable hospitals include immunizations, maternal and child health, emergency services, free medicines as well as medical consultations and general surgery.
This service is vitally
important to the Indian population. Despite having one of
the fastest growing economies in the world, India has the
majority of the word’s destitute population. Also, India is
facing a huge health care crisis. India ranks first in the
world for cases of TB and is the only country in the world
where polio infections are on the rise. Three major
challenges face the rural areas of India at this time. They
are a lack of adequate medical facilities, an inability to
pay for medical services and a score of unqualified medical
personnel treating sick and infirm patients. The JKP
charitable hospitals seek to remedy all three of the above
challenges by implementing high-quality and free medical
care that is easily accessible for rural inhabitants of
India.
“About 80% of the people living in the districts
surrounding this hospital are living in poverty and are
without proper nutrition. Many who come here couldn’t find
help elsewhere. After treatment here, they feel
better.” D.P. Singh, M.D., Chief of
Staff, Mangarh Charitable
Hospital

Maharaj
Kripaluji Maharaj founded Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat
which is an international, non-profit charitable
organization. The spiritual underpinnings of the JKP lead
to a mission of devotion and dedication to increase the
physical and spiritual wellness of India’s population. The
three charitable hospitals established by JKP further the
organization’s 20 year history of providing aid and comfort
to those in need. The educational and philanthropic centers
set up by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj have fed the
poor, provided disaster relief to those suffering from
natural occurrences, set up Eye and Cardiac Camps, and
donated needed items such as food, clothing and blankets to
those most in need. The JKP has registered a Section 12 (A)
in India under the I.T. Act to be officially licensed as a
spiritual non-profit and all gifts are tax deductible.
Founded in 1983, and registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit
organization, JKP Barsana Dham is the main American center
of the JKP. In 1990 Prakashanand Saraswati established
Barsana Dham as an American center for religious and
cultural heritage for Hindus throughout the Americas. Gifts
to either organization will benefit the spiritual and
physical wellness of the world and spread Jagadguru Shree
Kripaluji Maharaj’s gift of divine love and compassion.
Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj is Divine Grace and is
constantly expounding deep spiritual truths in simple
language. Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj graces souls
with his Divine presence and his kirtans.
